Lone Soldier will be marketed heavily as a “Faith-based” film in the United States and as a War movie in the International market.
Although market focus in the United States will be the Faith-based audience, the War movie aspect will appeal to the larger market and drive cross-over revenues.
This strategy will take optimum advantage of the film’s dual-genre nature.
Over 75% of Americans self-identify as Christian. There are over 247 million Christian Americans. This huge market is still grossly under-served by traditional Hollywood.
A small but significantly successful industry whose sole aim is to market and distribute Faith-based films has developed.
Freestyle Releasing is the leading Theatrical Distribution company in this field.
The Producers and Freestyle Releasing have had a number of in depth conversations regarding the Theatrical Distribution prospects for Lone Soldier.
The minimum Distribution Budget for Lone Soldier will be $8 million.
Based on this minimum, Freestyle Releasing will secure a minimum opening day distribution footprint of 1,000 screens in US markets that will have maximized Box Office revenue potential based on market demographics and spending patterns.
The plan will be to grow this distribution footprint to over 2,000 screens in the US.
Freestyle Releasing has Ancillary Output Deals with Netflix and Lion's Gate Home Entertainment.
We will utilize these additional revenue generating deals to maximize Domestic Ancillary revenues.
The Producers have extensive relationships with a number of established, successful International Sales Companies. We will contract with the best on to handle Lone Soldier.
The fact that Lone Soldier will have wide domestic distribution will significantly increase its revenue value in every International Territory.
In addition, we will:
- Utilize Social Media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Snapchat, etc…) to create early stage and on-going buzz about the making of Lone Soldier.
- Create a Public Relations campaign that will utilize key actors in the film through print, radio and televised interviews.
- Utilize Mega-Church communities as marketing partners.
- Target select distribution markets with a grass-roots, boots-on-the-ground advertising effort.
- Cross-market through the music industry by commissioning at least one strong Faith-based song for Lone Soldier and pushing it market-by-market in tandem with the theatrical release of the film in that market.
- Create a Graphic Novel version of Lone Soldier to be sold through Mega-Churches and the retailers of the CBA*
- Utilize our extensive relationships with key leaders in the American Jewish community.
In addition, there are over 3,000 Christian radio stations in North America. Following a strategic road-map developed with Freestyle Releasing we will advertise heavily through this medium in select listening markets.
The Producers also have a relationship with the *Christian Booksellers Association (CBA). The CBA represents and markets to over 7,000 Christian book stores in North America. This industry generates over $4 Billion in sales each year. The single most revenue generating product sold through this avenue is Faith-based DVDs.
The Producers will fully exploit this relationship and the CBA’s marketing resources.
Lone Soldier Financial Projections

Any projections are estimates only, based on assumptions, which may prove to be incorrect.
Due to an abundance of unpredictable factors that can influence the revenue stream for any film, it is exceptionally difficult to provide an accurate forecast that is supported by hard data for the financial performance of Lone Soldier.
Certain contributing factors can be controlled. The Producers are making every effort to control these factors through careful consideration of each and filling the factor “box” with the best elements possible.
These key factors include the following:
Genre(s): War movies are a small but very profitable genre. Each of the past ten years has seen a limited number of straight war movies enter the market. These films have done well across the board. Lone Soldier fits squarely into this genre.
Faith-based films are an equally small and, from a cost-to-revenue perspective, an even more profitable genre. Lone Soldier will be aggressively marketed to this niche.
Story: Lone Soldier tells the very relatable story of the American “boy next door” who follows his ideals and sense of honor into military service, and then finds his courage, character and faith tested in the cauldron of war.
Production Values and Efficiencies: The two production companies that will bring Lone Soldier to life (Aldamisa Entertainment and Highlights Film) have both proven over the long term that they can deliver Theatrical Quality movies with high production value on time and within budget limits.
Director: Isaac Florentine has proven over and over that he can direct efficiently and quickly, and still deliver polished, engaging movies that succeed in the market.
Talent: The Producers fully understand the importance of placing the right actor in the right key roles. We have identified these crucial roles and have allocated monies in the budget to secure the right actors.
Cost: The Producers have hired an independent outside Line Producer to create a budget that accurately and honestly details the expense required to realize the screenplay using high-quality production elements, a sufficient shooting schedule and appropriate talent. The budget is $17 million. This is divided into a Production Budget of $9 million (fully detailed budget available) and a Distribution Budget of $8 million. The Production will realize at least $1 million in monetized production incentives in Israel and the US. This money will be used to increase the Distribution and Marketing spend to $9 million.
Sales & Marketing: In many cases, a world-class Sales Agent is even more important to the success of a film than the quality of the production. Many well made films never see the light of day simply because they did not secure the right Sales Agent.
